ABOUT Connor
I’m Connor Kodat, a Southern California–based designer and photographer with a deep interest in movement, energy, and space—and in how people experience them.
With a background in architecture (B.A. and M.Arch), I approach photography and design with a trained eye for structure, composition, and storytelling. Whether it’s an athlete mid-flight, a landscape shaped by light and atmosphere, or an architectural project at a defining moment, I’m drawn to work that expresses intention, momentum, and design.
Over the years, I’ve built a versatile body of work spanning action sports, graduation portraits, travel, automotive experiences, and architectural storytelling. Across these projects, my focus goes beyond capturing a moment. I’m interested in conveying context, emotion, and narrative—work that helps people understand not just what they’re seeing, but why it matters.
Alongside freelance photography, I continue to explore design more broadly through personal and independent projects that combine visual craft, systems thinking, and digital storytelling. These explorations reflect my interest in how creative work functions across platforms, brands, and experiences.
I’m always open to collaborating with people and teams who value thoughtful design, clear storytelling, and authenticity—whether that’s through visual content, creative direction, or broader design work.
